Welcome to the Simi Valley Orchestras, where music brings our community together!
Our orchestras – now joined by a Community Choir – offer something for every musician, from budding beginners to seasoned performers. In our Community Orchestra, everyone is welcome to explore their love for music in a supportive and friendly environment. Young musicians thrive in our Youth Orchestra, where talent and passion are nurtured to inspire the next generation. For those seeking a more advanced challenge, our Semi-Pro Orchestra provides an enriching space for accomplished players to excel.

Past & Future Events

Christmas Is Coming

This is the first event where we're adding a community choir to the orchestra to play a series of events leading through Christmas. The first was on November 16th at Simi Town Center Mall for the official Christmas Tree Lighting event.
We're performing again at the Simi Community Christmas at 7:30pm on Dec 7th, the Metrolink Christmas event on December 14th at the Simi Valley train station and a special choir performance will be taking place at the Elk's Lodge on Dec 21st for their members who do so much to support our Community. 

Veteran's Day - Lemon Park

Come along to honor the heroes who have given so much in service of our Country. We will be playing music to celebrate the veterans of US Wars with music before, during and after the ceremony. Music commences at 10:45am. 

July 4th Fireworks

The Simi Valley Community Orchestra played in front of the crowds gathered for the celebration of our nation's Independence, playing both patriotic and folk music.

Memorial Day

In May 2024, the Simi Valley Community Orchestra played to honor our nation's fallen for the flag placement at the Los Angeles National Cemetery on May 25th and at the Pioneer Cemetery in Simi Valley on Monday May 27th

Little House On The Prairie

At the 50th Anniversary of the TV show Little House On The Prairie in March 2024, 89 musicians participated in two 30 minute shows to celebrate the Little House's heritage. 

Flash Mob

Our first venture as a community orchestra was to appear out of nowhere with 60 musicians to perform at the Simi Valley Street Fair in October 2023

Auditions for early 2025 are on the horizon, promising an opportunity for aspiring musicians to accelerate their musical growth, where they'll embark on a journey of advancement, camaraderie, and musical exploration. The Simi Scoring Orchestra

We are excited to announce the launch of Simi Valley’s very own scoring and recording orchestra. This elite ensemble is composed of highly skilled musicians dedicated to delivering exceptional musical services. With recent showcases at the SIMI Film Fest, the Simi Scoring Orchestra is committed to supporting the independent film industry through recording sessions for film scores, including short films, as well as bringing the art of live orchestral music to a variety of events.
