The Beginnings... with a goal of a gift for generations

A Community United Through Music, Inspiring Tomorrow’s Talent Today

The Simi Valley Orchestra was founded in 2023, making its debut with a captivating flash-mob performance at the Simi Valley Street Fair, delighting hundreds of attendees. Comprised of local musicians spanning generations, the orchestra came together to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Little House on the Prairie. Since that memorable event, the Simi Valley Orchestra has continued to grow, welcoming talented musicians into its ranks and performing at notable community events across Simi Valley and Los Angeles.

In November 2024, the Simi Valley Choir was introduced, adding a powerful new voice to our musical community. Open to anyone with a passion for singing, the choir offers a welcoming space to learn, grow, and share the joy of music. Rapidly expanding, the choir is already preparing for local performances that showcase the collective talent and enthusiasm of its members. Whether you're an experienced vocalist or simply love to sing, we invite you to join us and be part of this exciting journey.

Our vision extends beyond the joy of performance—we aim to cultivate a professional orchestra that provides meaningful careers and opportunities for individuals in the musical arts. By supporting local talent and fostering excellence, we strive to enrich the cultural fabric of our community while creating a legacy of artistic achievement.

Whether you're a seasoned musician or dusting off your instrument after years, we welcome you to join our Community Orchestra—no auditions required, just a love for music and a desire to grow together! For those aspiring to join our Youth or Professional Orchestras, we invite you to audition and take your musical journey to the next level.
